8th March 2019 – International Women’s Day
On this day we inaugurated our new initiative for underprivileged women - ”Project Udaan”.
This is a Skill Development Centre for underprivileged women, supported by
Wingify Foundation at Samaypur Village in Delhi. Top leadership from Wingify,
including their Chairman, CEO and other core team members participated in the
event along with ANK Team . In this project we have set up excellent training
facility for trades like Fashion Designing and Beautician. Fully equipped labs
has been set up at the project to train 240 women in a year. In just 10 days
of operations the centre has 90+ Students!! With many more eager to come and
create livelihoods! This day we would also like to thank all our Teachers
Female staff who are adding to the spirit of women's day by changing lives of
little girls through education and skills.
